Global Xiaomi 15 spotted in Geekbench's AI test database
The Xiaomi 15 has been on sale in China since the end of last month. It will be available globally at some point, but the company hasn’t set a date yet – an interview with an exec in India pointed to March as a launch window (for India, though presumably the rest of the world too).
The global variant of the Xiaomi 15, “24129PN74G”, was spotted in the Geekbench database, specifically the AI test section. The results are all over the place, so it’s too early to compare its Snapdragon 8 Elite versus the 8 Gen 3 of the Xiaomi 14.
Plus, these tests were run only on the CPU rather than the GPU or NPU, which is likely not the typical use case.
The more important takeaway here is that the global Xiaomi 15 is already undergoing testing and that it has 12GB of RAM as base. And it runs Android 15, of course, with HyperOS 2.0 on top.
These were easy enough to predict even without confirmation from Geekbench, but what we really want to know is the price. However, that will have to wait for the official unveiling.
