Google Assistant Go brings Assistant smarts to low-RAM phones
Google has released Assistant Go for Android (Go Edition) smartphones with little RAM.
It will be able to make phone calls, send messages, play music and navigate you anywhere all with your voice. while keeping the memory in check.
Since Google Assistant Go consumes less storage and RAM it won't have a keyboard, it won't be able to create reminders or control smart home devices. However, Google says some of these features will become available with time.
Google Assistant Go is available in English, French, German, Italian, Japanese, Portuguese, Spanish, and Thai.

Just wondering, what's the minimum Android version required for this GA Go to run? Is it available for Android 4.2 by any chance? I'm still using a device from 2014 with 1GB RAM and 8GB internal storage.
