Great choice since the first Pixel every Pixel was lacking in performance compared to other flagships but that was never their focus. They've been killing in camera results, that's why they are here where they are. Because there is a market who wants just that.

Okay phone with a great camera for pics.

Band n78 is not listed for the US variant of Pixel 10 Pro XL. Why? Both 5G bands n77 and n78 are equally important C-bands.

How can they get away with charging so much for such a pathetic CPU??? This phone shouldn't cost more than 500 €. Shame on Google!

Anonymous, 29 Aug 2025Midrange Cpu absolutely a reaction It is a midrange CPU, what are you talking about? Tensor is a pathetic chip, I've been a Pixel guy for a long time, but Google's refusal to add a flagship level chip to their devices is arrogant - real world usage after a year or 2, especial after updates, takes a downward spiral.

Was waiting for 10 Pro XL but its specs are absolutely disappointing. For the same price I am getting Samsung S25 Ultra with higher storage and much much better hardware. No point in buying Google phones anymore.

The Pixel 10 Pro XL still can’t record 4K@60 HDR natively. It only does standard 4K@60, then uploads to Google Photos for simulated HDR; like how early Pixels post-processed photos in the cloud. Best HDR it can do natively is 4K@30

It seems the 10 Pro XL's USB port is not capable of reaching USB 3.2 Gen 1 speeds. It looks like it caps out at USB 2 speeds, which is about 40MB/s. Not very Pro

93 mins to full charge, amazing the fanboys still buy this slop. No doubt still bland screen colours too.

                                      Disappointing:

The Pixel 10’s battery takes a hit after 200 cycles, courtesy of a feature you can’t switch off. It begins lowering voltage after 200 charge cycles and keeps adjusting until 1,000 cycles. Expect slower charging and a smaller usable battery capacity over time.

Unlike Samsung’s flagship phones, which are rated to keep 80% battery capacity after around 2,000 charge cycles, Google’s stricter limits stand out.

Google’s decision to make this feature mandatory feels restrictive, especially since many other phone makers give users the option to manage battery settings themselves.

The spec-sheet here on gsmarena for the Pixel 10 Pro XL isn't quite accurate (or it's just a bit vague, it summarizes specs, I understand).

Specifically the video recording. If you check google's shop, it shows that this phone can only record video 8k*up to 30fps, 4k*up to 60fps, and 1080p*up to 60fps. You can't just shoot regular videos in 240fps, in fact, you can't in any resolution, no 120fps either. That 240fps is in the fine print in the google shop, and it only applies to slow motion videos, nothing else.

I hate to be that guy, but that's quite disappointing. When I look at flagships like Apple, Samsung, and Google Pixel, I compare their camera/video recording, since that's what they advertise most. That's why you would get one of those phones for - the professional video recording / streaming / (even photography is almost an afterthought, you mainly want to superb video quality).
Apple iPhone 16 Pro Max has 4k*120fps and 1080p*240fps video recording. Now, why would I get a Pixel 10 Pro XL with 60fps video recordings. I'm not even an Apple fan. I only use Androids. But come on. At a certain price point (and when the company is known for their cameras / Google Pixel, it's literally the iPhone of the Android world, ease of use, and the out of the box photography and video quality is being praised), you expect the highest, smoothest, professional video recording. 60fps being the highest they offer just isn't it.

Am I being too hard on them? I don't know. Camera is literally what the Pixels are praised for, no?
