I'm planning to buy a new phone.
But I'm confused about which one should I buy among these three (S21 FE or OnePlus 10T or Pixel 7)
My purpose is normal day-to-day use, social media scrolling, photography, videography, also editing those, and I'm not a heavy gamer but sometimes once or twice a week, I play PES & PUBG mobile for recreation. Basically, I'm a phone-oriented person so I spend a lot amount of time on my phone.
**P.S: Currently, I'm using OnePLus 8T, but for dead pixel/Green Line issues, I'm changing this one.
So enlighten me which one should I purchase?

I am about to purchase a new phone and I can't decide between S21 FE (436€) and Pixel 7 (459€).
I prefer S21 FE than Pixel 7 in everything except Camera but that is not important to me. I saw also that Pixel 7 has better battery life (I guess because it is 90Hz screen instead of 120Hz).
I would go for the S21 FE 6GB RAM instead of Pixel 7 8GB RAM but I am scared about that RAM difference.
This is my question, ¿S21 FE (SD 888 and 6 RAM) or Pixel 7 (Tensor 2 and 8 RAM)?

idk if it's just my phone but my selfie camera can never focus on me and seems to be always focusing on the background
I looked it up and many people have the same issue. Dunno wether it's a qc or software issue.

kek, 10 Aug 2023The "heat issues" and "heat while using data... moreIt's pointless to get a smartphone for a good photo.
Many phones can take average pics and clips, and what it matter the most is your skill (both for taking shots and editing).
So don't be carried away by youtubers hypes.

The "heat issues" and "heat while using data" are on par with the experience when using Exynos cpu.
But until Google learns its lesson, they will stick with it, it seems.

It is definitely one of the smartphones of all time. Certainly meets expectations for the most part, beautiful display, can run games decently and take great photos. However, given how much credit the pixel 7 gets for its camera, I certainly expected much more from its video-taking capabilities. I am very unimpressed by their 8x "super res zoom", videos always turn out soft and blurry. It's so bad that my 4-year old oppo reno takes better zoomed videos, and goes up to 10x. I guess I am a fool for not getting the 7 pro instead, or any other phone for that matter.

This is a great phone with great specs, good cameras and display also feels so good and is very responsive.
The only issue with overheating even when doing noting (just keep it connected to internet), I don't have any games installed only socials and browser but most of the time temperature reach 38-40 degrees Celsius just by browsing thru the apps like: Facebook, Insta, Twitter or browser.
For this reason also the battery depleates very fast, so a few times / day I have to swich it off 5-10 mins to cool down. Battery never last 1 complete day (because of overheating).
This could be a perfect phone but is just so unreliable because of poor thermal management ( i have it already since 5 months and with each software update I thought will improve but unfortunatelly nothing good happend regarding thermals and battery life).
Also I keep it only at 4G and WiFi because if I switch to 5G it overheats even worse...
If Android 14 will not solve this issues, I will make sure this is first and last Google flagship I own (sadly).

Adadan, 24 Jul 2023What to buy, Google Pixel 6 pro or 7 ? Im interested in photos.I'm stuck with this too, but I think pixel 7 is better considering Tensor G2. Pixel 6 pro is not stable like Pixel 7

Almost two month with this phone. My options about Pixel 7 (UK version):
+ Photo quality superb.
+ Video quality good (iPhone still unbeatable though).
+ Love the flat display and the quality is good (still readable under sunlight).
+ Speakers is good but nothing special.
+ Battery is average (avg. SoT 5h - 5h.30mins-ish).
+ Fluid OS as expected from Pixel phones.
+ Love the design and metal camera housing mich better than glass one.
- Heat management is poor. Can get warm easily if you record video (especially 5mins+).
- Using cellular data also leads to warm back cover (although I don't have poor signal reception).
- Average charging speed if you compared this phone with others like BBK phones.
The main concern about this phone for me is heat management since I live in Indonesia. But as long as you have WiFi I think I can tolerate it. Let's see if Google will switch to TSMC instead still with Exynos.

Anonymous, 09 Jul 2023This phone is £500 right now in the UK. Is it worth it? I a... morebattery is decent, lasts a day well if you are not intense mobile gamer. camera is fine, only downside I saw was it loses focus when it's too close to the object, other than that, camera and video are both beautiful. I am planning to keep this minimum 4 years.

Anonymous, 14 Jul 2023Get the S23 ultra if you're concerned about the batter... moreI'd like to add, I own both the Pixel 7 and Samsung S23+. I use GCam mod on the S23+ and it's about as good as the one on my Pixel 7, sometimes better, and sometimes worse. I'd say, it is even having extensively compared both the native GCam on the Pixel 7 with the GCam mod (LMC 8.4) used on my S23+. So if you have doubts, go with Samsung S23 series phones. (By the way, the S23+ has a document lens defect called 'banana blur' that is visible when photographic close up photos of documents. It's a non-issue for me with easy workarounds but if it's an issue for you, go with the S23 ultra which doesn't have any lens issues.)

Anonymous, 09 Jul 2023This phone is £500 right now in the UK. Is it worth it? I a... moreGet the S23 ultra if you're concerned about the battery and other performance issues. If you want the best photos however, you'll either have to get a Pixel 7/7 Pro and accept its deficiencies (no 5G support worldwide), inferior exynos based tensor chipset, and fewer android software updates than Samsung's S23 flagships. A workaround for the camera is to sideload GCam mod for the S23 (would recommend LMC 8.4 mod with config files for the S23/S23+/S23 Ultra). They are nearly identical in color and exposure with the native GCam on the Pixel 7/7 Pro and oftentimes better (less aggressive sharpening), but may be buggy at times.
