dude07, 14 Dec 2022heating issue pixel 7 & 7 pro?Yes, os is buggy too, fingerprint only works 70% or less of the time thats why i returned mine & never gonna buy another google device. My only good experience were Pixel 3 & 5 probably coz they had snapdragon.

Hate it with a passion. Previous phone was a Pixel 3 (replacement for previous Pixel 3 who's port and battery packed up after a year). On plus side, 7 has better battery... which means I can fail to get a signal for longer. Compared to slim pocket sized 3, 7 is heavier, longer and gets hot quickly. Fingerprint rarely works (despite reloading fingerprints several times. 3 had fingerprint sensor on back. Strangely easier to find and use... and always worked). Navigation inconsistent compared with Android 10 on 3. There's no way this is a better phone than previous neat 3 (with crap batteries).

Sd has more heat coming from its cpu though, Its consistent cuz Fps and performance is still the same even when the phone is hot, Not like exynos but Exynos is more Heat friendly than sd lol

Or sometimes Its a software issue, People are so overactive these days, Just because a sensor didnt worked well meant that the whole device is a crap, Like how your brain does.

So I Made a big mistake and upgrade from Pixel 5 to this crap. I wonder if Google can not have a fast a reliable under-display fingerprint sensor why they bothered?
Let's say it is working only 10% of time, and that 10% works with the help of Face unlock.

So I got the pixel 7 last week and everything seem fine till yesterday when I work up to 40% battery from 100% before going to sleep. Battery usage showed the culprits to be carrier services (47%) and mobile network (27%). Not sure why the as so high as the register as insignificant on my Mi 11. Multiple calls to Goggle support didn't resolve the issue so I have been asked to send back the phone. Shame though.

On Mint and cannot ever have mobile connectivity outside of wifi. Absolute nightmare.
Finger print scanner works ~70,% of time but this means I have to reset ever single.financial biometric app of lookup a dozen passwords. Absolute nightmare.
On wifi at home it loads slower than my Pixel 4a5G. What in the world?
This phone is not ready for market and should probably be discontinued.
Don't waste your money, time, or have your day get frustrated every day.
