Hills od, 28 Dec 2022Three phones in me mind for 2023. Pixel 7, Samsung S22 &a... moresony phone has crazy overheating problem and is more expensive when comparing, camera app is great when you tweak settings but A.I is terrible . pixel 7 is a great phone for camera and battery life. Samsung s22 is a great allrounder but if you wait until February you can get s23 according to leaks

Here's my review for the phone:

        - it does heat up, especially in games (and you will feel it on the aluminum frame too), but not as much as Samsung S22 (Exynos)
        - power & volume buttons are switched on the side, which drove me crazy (volume buttons are hard to reach when you're using phone horizontally. Also when using camera, you can use the volume up button for the camera shutter, but since the button is in the middle of the phone, its basically unusable)
        - fingerprint reader is pretty bad, many times it didn't register my finger (setting up the same finger twice does help a little)
        - network signal already dropped once in the first week of usage, right before a call and didn't want to reconnect
        - Google is asking for reviews for core apps like "Phone" app or "Messages" app when you open them, which I find ridiculous
        - phone isn't supported / recognized in many popular games, like Wild Rift, Asphalt 9, Genshin Impact, which means it will set everything to minimum settings and many higher video settings will be disabled (including 90 fps)
        - my phone had also some problem with an earpiece speaker, something was resonating there while calling, which was really distracting
        - mobile data button is merged with the WiFi button, so it's not a one-click button to turn on and off (also it will always show an exclamation mark next to the WiFi signal icon when data is disabled for some reason)
        - it's a bit heavier than I would like (and is pretty slippery without a cover)

I've returned the phone within the first 2 weeks. That was the first time I tried a Pixel phone and I got to say I'm a bit dissapointed. Only good thing about this phone is its camera. But that's about it for me.

I love small phones for sure but i also like me a decent battery life so i really don't know which one delivers more on that category... Any help?

chainlink, 24 Dec 2022Why so big phones are releasead?Who need so big? They look ... moreI think they died off. It's unfortunate too. Phones are basically tablets now. This Pixel 7 is one of the smallest flagship phones (if not THE smallest), so I can understand the frustration. My hands are undersized, I had trouble with the Pixel 2 when I had a case on.

It's been hard to upgrade when every phone is bigger. The width is bigger every time. 2.75 inches is the most my hand can take, so my search has went terrible. I might just go to a small budget phone since they don't use much battery

I would love to see recent model Google pixel which is not 5g.

No suprise (my 6 pro became un useable as a device when people couldn't hear me speak or WiFi just constantly dropping every 2 minutes or not connecting to Bluetooth devices). Does yours charge properly or is that still an issue? People don't realise how bad these devices are till you own one (6/7series pixels)
