The latest Google pixel phones are painfully bad
Am sure the Google pixel phones where not the used too be this expensive
Downgraded from smartphone too crappy Google tensor processors
Google should get rid of tensor processor
And go back too 800 series Snapdragon processors

In my opinion Pixel 7 is the best choice of phone right now at this price. Its offering a 90HZ super clear display along with the best specs and timely software updates. I switched to Pixel 7 from iPhone 13 and Yes I can feel the difference. Pixel 7 is amazing and far better in every aspect.

My ego is the issue here. Yeah sure pal. I'd like to have what you're having buddy. Also, judging by the number of spelling errors in your comment, you're either trolling or just not very "experienced" in life.

notafanboy, 11 Oct 2022I didn't defend anything lol but keep telling yourself... moreIf it's an preference choice then why do you have a need to put those commentators down, just let them speak their minds and what they need from a smart device. They are showing their own preferences not yours. People know jack wont be back because they know it's not about convinience it's about bussines model which is better for companies looking for profit. But people still have a right to speak their minds and you can't stop them. Because if them we still have a choice to go to Asus ir Sony if we really need that one option. Why do you care about those comments about 3.5mm jack? It has nithing to do with yiu ir your preference right? So why? I know why. Ego right? You just can't stand someone have a preference different than yours right. Then what are you doing here? What's your goal? To fight every opinion and preference which is different then yours? Oh man.. good luck with that...
Have a great day everybody and peace out!

No 3.5mm jack no buy, 16 Oct 2022ZenFone 9 costs the same and is way better buy. Only "... moreThe trade in deals is what pulled me into the pixel 7 this time around. BestBuy was offering a really good pre order deal on the unlocked pixel 7. Got $395 for my cracked screen iPhone 11.
If you were paying full price for a phone with no discounts and no bonuses, then I could see why the pixel 7 might not be for you. The Zenfone 9 def has the advantage in battery life and processor performance but the pixel 7 def has the advantage in far more areas while also being $100 cheaper. Photos, AI, Live transcribe, Free VPN, 3 years of OS updates instead of 2 years on the zenfone 9.
Unless battery life and processor performance is your number 1 priority in a phone, and everything doesn't matter to you, and you don't want to pay asus ROG phone prices and you don't want an iPhone. The pixel 7 series phones are actually a really good overall package. Although the processor is not as strong as the Snapdragon processors, It's good enough for most people and still far from slow. You'll also get far better trade in deals with a pixel 7 as opposed to a zenfone 9 in the future. They are offering $300 for a trade in of a pixel 4 with the Best Buy deal and a $100 giftcard too.
Reviews for the pixel 6 series was pretty mediocre and often times negative, but the reviews for the pixel 7 series have been far more positive this time around.

I upgraded phones for all family members recently during the ongoing sales in india
1) Realme GT Neo 3T (SD870)
2) Vivo T1 5G (SD695)
3) Moto G82 5G (SD695)
4) Mi 11X (SD870)
5) Pixel 7 (Tensor 2) >>>>> MY PHONE
NOTES:
- 1-4 use TSMC fab process
- 5 uses Samsung's fab process
- Motorola poled display is very nice
- Hyderabad weather is around 27C so its not summer when it reaches 45C
I experienced heating issues on Pixel 7 during a-d
a) ~10G of data trasnfer via usb from my old phone vivo nex (sd845)
- nex didnt heat up all
- but pixel did heated up significant
b) whatsapp data restore (~5G) from cloud
c) system updates
d) I opened around 40+ apps and noticed heating issues
- SOP for new phone is migration from old phone and init
- most apps that I use are light weight like shopping, banking, streaming, vpn, password, utils etc
PIXEL NOTES:
- applications didnt crash or wedge but in general heating is seen on pixel compared with the other phones.
- Also 5G support is missing and waiting for google to push the patch in india
- pixel body is very slippery
In general I felt google should tried TSMC to avoid heating
