Battery is very good, I'm on a day 3 already and it's 32 percent left. You have no idea what you're talking about. Best phone, zero lags, fingerprint works fine. You just have to reset it after initializing the phone when you set it for first time.

My previous phone was Mate 30 Pro (2019).Beside the google service from pixel 7 pro i feel that all the other features from Mate are better.I would trade anytime my Pixel 7 Pro with a Mate 50 Pro.The battery its the worst for a 2022 flagship..and the charging time...omg.

Battery is the same endurance as Pixel 2XL. Lasts 2 days with normal usage (sms/calling and light browsing).

In Google Pixel smartphones battery endurance is a JOKE. If the batteries are dead, any smartphone is useless, so in this case, Google Pixel smartphones are useless. What is mean batteries endurance, Google Pixel 7 Pro is even worse than the year-old Google Pixel 6 Pro. Just avoiding any smartphone if they have similar battery endurance as Google Pixel. No point to throw away money for these *******.

I tried to shoot a frozen dew drop, was unable to do so with S22U and 13 Pro and ended up using the UW lens. But the 7Pro was quick to set focus and the bokeh was also pretty good. However, the overall colour science is not to my liking. I use it exclusively for Astrophotography

Coming off Blackberry Key2. This phone is too slippery. The standard case from Google is also too slippery. The phone is larger than the Key2 so it fits sideways in my left pants pocket. I got home and it wasn't there! Luckily, I had set up "Find my phone". It said it was in my building and I set it to ring for five minutes while i searched for it.
Turns out, it slipped out of my left pants pocket in between my car seat and driver's door. Lucky I didn't lose it in a parking lot somewhere. Have to find a non-slippery case.

Got mine 2 days ago. Didn't feel like switching from the S20+, but that horrible pink line forced my hand.
Have to say I'm not a huge fan of the software experience so far; the navigation bar / quick panel layouts require more work.

With the same headphones I listen to music plugging into the 3.5 and then with the DAC USB adapter. The dynamic range is much better with the DAC. Higher highs and deeper lows. And the volume is much higher and the channel separation is way better.
I used to think it was a super pain to not have an audio jack. Now I'm a big believer in the DAC USB. The audio quality is even usually better than most Bluetooth headsets too.

- Much better display brightness up to 1500nits peak.
-Better software optimizations across the board.
This is why it is the most improved phone and It's excellent considering its price :)

1-month ownership update:
- I regret buying this piece of junk
- I will lose data connectivity in the car frequently. The only way to fix it is to stop data and rerun it or to go into airplane mode. I hope I won't crash while trying to restore connectivity to this trash phone.
- The charging is nowhere near the 30W promised. My last phone is 30W and charges like 3 times faster. It feels like 2005 again with the Pixel 7 pro.
- Bluetooth will also "freeze" and needs to be restarted
- Signal strength is weaker on both SIMs and sometimes audio quality is affected
- Many customization features are missing from stock android - it is very basic in terms of customization
- the virtual button on the back side (double tap) is a complete joke. It will not work 90% of the time
- The camera has been underwhelming (maybe I had too big expectations)
- On one occasion I took a screenshot and the phone froze in such a manner that nothing worked. It was not able to do anything and the only option was to wait until the battery drained to get it working again.
- various small bugs and glitches
- battery life on full resolution with the two sims is rather disappointing, combined with the snail charging speed it degrades the user experience massively
If that's one of the best phones humanity has to offer - we are doomed.
