This is absolutely the gorgeous looking phone of 2022. I just can't get over with its Hazel colour with gold combo. Amazing job.

I just want a 6.9 version of Google pixel. After using Xiaomi mi max 3 in the past everything feels so small. Currently using Motorola one ace 5G 6.7 inches screen. Typing is with errors because keyboard is small. I'm hoping they can surprise me with a bigger version. I'm sure lots of people are in my category with big hands

after copying every feature of Samsung whether of software or hardware...google finally reached this far...after a flop journey of nexus....but still Samsungs 2 year old model like note 20 ultra will be better than pixel 7 pro

If they remove expandable storage as well (already removed the headphone jack on A53), then I might as well buy a Google Pixel. Since Samsung wouldn't have those features anymore, might as well buy a pixel that I have more freedom to work with. I can unlock the bootloader and throw GrapheneOS on there, then re-lock the bootloader and keep GrapheneOS on there. Don't think I can do that with a Samsung nowadays. Needs to be restored to it's original firmware.

One of the first things i do after i buy a new phone,is to disable the clouds apps.The camera on my phones it's always set to save directly on sd card.

amazon.de is out of stock for all colors and storage options for Pixel 7 Pro. Reason is Pixel watch promo.
amazon.fr and amazon.it have Pixel 7 Pro available in all colors and storage options as of 13:57 GMT. Do confirm shipping cost and if it is indeed sold and dispatched by amazon.
I opted for Black/Obsidian color in 128 GB as my use case hardly exceeds above this space.

I never had a Google phone...still check on their phones with each new generation,but as probably they'll never put an SD card slot in place,to buy one,I'll never happen... Same about all those Asian brands,now,including Samsung....no sd slot,no buy...until the internal will have at least 2tb and reasonable price.

One thing that I can tell you
The data in device's storage is technically permanent for years to come, and it is YOURS. But once the device is broken, it takes time to recover the data.
But while the data on the cloud storage DOES belongs to you, it technically also belongs to the company (Google, Apple, etc.). The storage will be nowhere but in their server.
So, pick your poison...

Google needs to plan for expandable storage on Pixel. If the cameras are going to churn out heavy duty megapixels with all the bells and whistles, how do they expect to users to manage in water tight local storage? Folks will need to keep backing up on the cloud, but it is not always practical at full res. Unless that is the offical invite into expanded cloud storage :)
