Aremson, 12 May 2023Isn't it better to just go for the a54? 120hz 5 years ... moreYes but not as good in the camera department and a lower-tier chipset which makes it not as much future-proof as the Pixel.

Aremson, 12 May 2023Isn't it better to just go for the a54? 120hz 5 years ... moreThink again about chip

      https://nanoreview.net/en/soc-compare/samsung-exynos-1380-vs-google-tensor-g2

The Tensor G2 is better than the Exynos 1380. They are made on the same node while the Tensor has two larger Cortex X1 cores in place of smaller Cortex A78 cores on the Exynos (which Exynos does to save money)

Isn't it better to just go for the a54? 120hz 5 years of update, not so terrible chip

doty, 12 May 2023Can i ask you something, i didnt buy a smartphone in 5 year... moreDepends on how you use your phone . If you stay inside well protected and genuine apps , you don't need much security . But if you often surf questionable websites or 3rd party apps then yes you need phones with longer security update .

Poco phone quality varies drastically according to region u belong . In india for example you'd find the worst poco phone. (Same for realme ,redmi, nothing)

Overpried Just buy THe pixel 7

The pric... moreCan i ask you something, i didnt buy a smartphone in 5 years and i have to now, and this "Android and Security" Topic confused and insecures me. Is it really that important ? I mean should i prefer the Pixel 7a ( Android 13->14,15,16 and 5 Years Security Updates) over the Poco F5 ( Android 13 -> 14,15 and 3 Years Security Updates) just because of the updates ? I'd like to use either for at least 3-5 years, like my last Phone, hell i'd still be using it now if i didnt drop it a few days ago and it broke the display, and it only had Android 10.

Thanks for you answer in advance.

Well at last it doesn't have that useless macro lens

Anonymous, 11 May 2023and accessing data that you already have is much easier wit... moreI agree, but still not accessible any time on any device you runs your account, unless you have multiple SDs or external SSDs which is pretty much pain. Also they can't be reliable because once it's lost it or it runs corrupt then your data is gone forever.
Cloud storage technology has become better, faster and more reliable. It comes at a cost, but I buy my comfort and to keep my data centralized and few finger tips away on any of my devices.
