If this again will be released with 6gb RAM then google is knowingly crippling their A series considering chrome 64 bit for android only works for devices with 8gb ram and above. Google themselves created this arbitrary 8gb ram limit for 64bit chrome and then release a device in 2023 that doesn't fulfil this criteria.

It also has a OLED screen which is better than other cheap phones. And 90hz is a pretty good refresh rate. Your just spoiled by phones that give 120hz. It is not going to matter most of the time and will make the battery last longer. 256GB of storage is also really great for a lower end. For a phone that will be $360 one day it has better specs than lots of midrangers and it's a lower end phone!

4400 mAh, S8G2, ... moreSmashes it with 2 times the price for sure. 6a price have dropped to 360 euro in less then a year. Zonfone 9 still cost 700 euro.
Why even compare a flagship phone with Pixel 7a that is basically stripped phone of every feature and have only left there flagship cpu that is in a range of top end middle class phone with snapdragon chip and then it has the camera that is good enough as better then most middle class phones have. Rest of it is just nothing good. Even screen sux with only 90hz while 6a even had only 60hz

6a with GrapheneOS here. Exorcizing Google out of Google it's the best battery saver. Few problems considering the number of developers, but healthier for my mind.
You would get a panic attack to watch the useless background network traffic of all kind of top used, bad developed, apps... They kill the battery ruthlessly.
Just install a network logger and cry.
Anyway, best phone for the buck, badly, no 5G. :(
