Google Pixel 8 Pro gets drop and scratch tested, survives
The Google Pixel 8 Pro was drop and scratch-tested by PBKreviews on YouTube and survived. The test consists of a few drops from the waist and head height onto the phone's front, back, and side.
The only genuinely critical damage was to one of the display's corners but it doesn't impede the phone's regular operation.
The Pixel 8 Pro also withstood a bag of dirt and gravel with almost no issues. Here's the video. These drop tests may not be scientific, but they are fascinating to watch.

Not all damage is visible to the eye. For example tiny hairline fractures in connections, soldering, and conductive patterns.

True. Another reason why these tests are garbage: They only look at damage to the outside of a phone. They ignore any possible damage to the inside (electronics hardware, optics).

well depends from country to country, they always cheaper but in some countries isnt that cheaper, in som countries the diference can be just like 100$ and inst justified the price difference to buy the google pixel.
