Google Pixel 8 unboxed on video two days before the official launch
Google will unveil the new Pixel 8 series later this week (on Wednesday, October 4), but there have been so many leaks that the phones feel like they are already official. The leaks include photos of the retail package for the Pixel 8. Want to know what’s in the box? Check out this YouTube short!
The video was posted by PBKreviews, a channel that usually focuses on disassembly videos and drop tests rather than leaks. Anyway, it shows the contents of the box: a USB C to C cable, a USB C to A adapter, a quick start guide and the phone itself.
The phone is a Google Pixel 8 in a color called “Hazel”. This unit is the 128GB version, which will also have 8GB of RAM. For more details on the specs, consult the leaked comparison below, which comes straight from Google itself:
The comparison includes the prices for the Pixel phones – a higher $700/£700/€800 cost for the Pixel 8 and the same $900/£1,000/€1,100 for the Pixel 8 Pro as last year. Pre-orders will come with a bundled accessory – Pixel Buds Pro with the vanilla phone and the Pixel Watch 2 with the Pro model. The watch will be unveiled alongside the phones themselves and should cost £350 on its own.

Saying high end games isn't enough without telling us your games' settings (low, medium, high, ultra), screen refresh/brightness and the lenght of time you play them. Heck, even recorded gameplay with real time benchmarks would be better.
