Since their software support is only two years and google's phone having a SD card slot would make a LOT of sense because they have all the fancy camera stuff.

I was tempted to get this phone, but a couple of things put me off. 1, the phone edges look too round for my liking, and 2, 18 watts charging at this price is ridiculous. I would much rather have faster wired (30 watts is fine) than have wireless charging.

This phone makes more sense for Europe and countries that don't have official Google store.
For US where 50 dollars is a difference between this and standard pixel 8, not so much.

Only problem is price. Currently happy with my 6a, and still supported, so maybe I'll jump to 9a when it's out for a more substantial upgrade
