It never overheats, was surprised about the speakers output quality, photos & videos are top notch, AI features are a bonus for me and performance is adequate as im not into benchmarks or speedy gonzales devices.
I can understand the improvements might be incremental. But is it worth upgrading after only 6 months?
Or wait till the Black Friday sales where it will be slightly cheaper and the OS more optimised?

I hope, you are buying it on exchange, try the same with iPhone. I always recommend iPhone and Google phone because of security. Other from Chinese brands are entrusted when it come to security.

            Roam a lot outside and use lots mobile data
            Live in place where average day time temperature is 33°C+

            Even normal phones heat up in my city(35+ in peak summers)
            Pixels with Exynos based tensor would transform into iron box.

              How on earth does Google think an 18W charging speed is acceptable for a phone of this price in this day and age?

                another in the long line of overpriced and not good for the money pixels. nexus range was still a superior period. as an aside, it reminds me of the old s10e [which is still probaly better for the money].

                            I don’t know why they make them worse each year. Some older phones such as the s21fe didn’t have those

                                  At this price, the spec sheet looks average. If I'm paying almost flagship money, I want something that's at least better than a mid-ranger! This Pixel 8a just doesn't tick any of my boxes. Going to keep looking for something else...

                                        Better get Pixel 8 if founded in gold price. Install GrapheneOS and you are good to go!
