Google Pixel 9 disassembled on video

The latest disassembly video gives us a look inside the inner workings of the Google Pixel 9. It starts as usual - remove the SIM tray, heat up the rear glass panel to loosen the adhesive underneath, insert a pick and work your way around the device.

Inside is the usual array of connectors, screws, and components. The 4,700mAh battery is removed via pull tabs but a sprinkle of isopropyl alcohol helps things move smoother.

The big story with this year's Pixel 9 is that its USB-C port is a replaceable item and not soldered to the main bord as it was with the Pixel 8.
