Google has rolled out an update for the Pixel Camera, which now allows the Pixel 8 and Pixel 8 Pro users to record longer videos at night with the Night Sight Timelapse feature. A 5-minute 1080p or 20-minute 4K video will give you a 10-second timelapse in Night Sight mode.

The update also lets users customize the "Palm timer" to "Always on" or "Only on when 3 or 10 sec timer is on". Moreover, there's now a separate toggle for the Ultra HDR photos in the "Advanced" settings menu.
