Why, no, please.
Putting chrome os on a pixel tablet would make it no different from any other laptop running chrome os the only difference is that it's made by Google and in my mind all that means that they can now track me with cookies better.
It would be like saying "hey, let's put Mac OS on iPads"
If they wanna put chrome is on something they should just make a pixel laptop or something.

this better not be priced as a high-end tablet, especially with the LCD screen.

I've had a tablet, laptop and TV (laptop and tablet were new directly picked up in store) and they had bad burn in/image retention. I don't get this lie that only OLEDs get it.

old dude, 12 Dec 2022Need 3.5-jack back! or should I just throw my cabled AKG... moreProbably they ain't great, same priced Bluetooth headphones will perform the same (plus connect to multiple devices and never need wires or ports that will break and allows freedom of movement) but if you must then just use a type C to 3.5 jack that should of been bundled with a phone you own, works exactly the same with the exact same quality.

If you don't know how things work, don't comment on them. And the thing is, this tablet DOES use an LED display. The reason the specs say LCD is because they function in the exact. same. way. Do your research.

Olympus Oms, 16 Dec 2022They don't give the exact same black. They don't ... moreclearly you don't know the difference between LED and OLED. an LED display functions like a typical LCD display, except it has lights behind it that adjust dynamically based on the image. The blacks get darker, but they never reach true black. An OLED display gives each individual pixel its own light, allowing it to have full color accuracy. LED and OLED displays are of course, far more expensive than LCD displays. no other high speced tablet in the pixel tablets price range offers an OLED display, they offer LCD displays, and mid tier specs, unlike the pixel tablet. Also, this means that if you accidentally damage the tablet, its not gonna cost half the price of the tablet to get it repaired.
seriously, please go do your research before trying to prove me wrong, you just look silly

Do your research.! Led use black black! Lcd use gray black. Brighter color = more power consumption.
And lcd simply can't show as much screen details in bright light as led can.
Again, do your own research.

5tt, 27 Sep 2022No sim with a 60hz display. Sounds like paperweight materialIts optimized to be able to work off your phones cellular data plan. and its 60hz because its a tablet with amazing software, chip set, battery, and efficiency. high refresh rate isn't necessary, especially on a pixel device, because they look plenty smooth already.
