Google Play "Best of 2019" awards headlined by Call of Duty: Mobile and Glitch Video editor

As 2019 comes to an end, Google listed the best apps, games, movies and ebooks from the Play Store in two distinct categories with a Users’ Choice section alongside the Google Play Editors winners.

In the Users’ Choice category, Video Editor - Glitch Video Effects got first place in the app category while Call of Duty: Mobile was named best mobile game. Marvel Studios' Avengers: Endgame was rated as the best movie while Scary Stories to Tell in the Dark got the best ebook award.

Best app (Users’ Choice): Video Editor - Glitch Video Effects

Best app (Editors’ Choice): Ablo

On the gaming front, Call of Duty: Mobile was voted as the best game yet again. Other top picks include Harry Potter: Wizards Unite and Tacticool — 5v5 Shooter. Here are the rest of the Editors' top games.

Guess you haven't played COD: Mobile yet. Mobile gaming doesn't deserve to be called proper gaming and in the sea of ever so casual games, COD:Mobile seems to be a glimmer of Hope for Mobile Gaming in Future.
