GSM TV and 2MP camera from NEC

NEC announced two new models: the Nec N940, a new cellphone with a built-in television tuner and the Nec N840, a 2 megapixel camera phone.

NEC's N940 is a dualband handset (900/1800MHz) with a built-in television tuner and is also equiped with a VGA quality digital camera with video recorder/playback, and 3X digital zoom function. N940 has a bright 2.1-inch (220x176 pixels and 262,144 colours) touch screen TFT LCD display screen.
Other important specifications included: GPRS, WAP 1.2.1 browser, MMS, internal antenna, call vibration, polyphonic ring tone, alarm clock, calendar, calculator, memo, handwriting recognition software, PC sync, wallpaper and games.

N840, the other NEC's new model is a triband (900/1800/1900MHz) handset. It's dimensions are 100x48x25mm and weights 125g. The display is just as striking as the one of the N940 model: Dual LCD display screens, external 96x96 pixels 65,536 colours LCD display screen and internal 2.2-inch 320x240 pixels 262,144 colours QVGA TFT LCD display screen with 3D graphic support. The camera is more sophisticated: 2MP resolutions CMOS VGA digital camera with video recorder/playback, flash, multi shot and digital zoom function.
More specifications of the model: GPRS, WAP 2.0 browser, bluetooth, Java 2.0 platform, MMS, MP3 player, internal antenna, Voice recording function, 64 bit polyphonic ring tone, miniSD card expansion slot, Infrared port and USB connector, up to 500 contact persons in phonebook, alarm clock, calendar, calculator, memo, PC sync, wallpaper and games.

all the new cool phones dont operate on 850 so the next models should be quadband...
