I saw no difference on pixel 6a and 7a camera. You can't utilize the 64mp anyway. And performance wise same as pixel 6a. Only difference is 2gb ram more and wireless charging which both to me don't matter. No need to upgrade from pixel 6a to pixel 7a. Just wait for pixel 8a instead. It's not worth the jump.

The battery cycle info has gone after the March update.. 😕 and I am facing camera flaring issue . Do they give updates to Remove features or what ????!!

For anyone who has a carrier-locked Pixel 6a: you will be able to unlock the bootloader after getting it unlocked (unless it's a Verizon model). Just installed LineageOS on my T-Mobile model.

It is ok now after lady update.. lots of sudden heating before, screen freeze... still some issues... esim works good now also

I just downloaded the March 5th update (669 MB) for my Pixel 6a in the Czech Republic (Vodafone). Looks like they fixed some of the lag when writing a message. The system update card also looks different now. There should be also some camera settings improvement. For now, the phone runs better than ever.

Minu, 29 Feb 2024You seem to have not understood my point. Sure, there'... moreTotally agree. I own this Pixel 6a for the last couple of months and it is by far the best phone I've ever had. I can imagine living with this phone for next 10 years. I don't need faster phone or phone with more functions, better camera etc. This has it all. For other things like movie making or really good photos I have separate cameras that are a lot better than any other phone on the market. So for me the most important thing is security, newest software and the overall support from the manufacturer. Why change it if it works? I rather spend money on a skiing vacation than on a newest iPhone.

Just to mention that last update (March) improve fingerprint sensor accuracy a lot.
