got this phone with free 25w and 3.5mm earphones so it's not a bad deal if the shop knows how to promote sales for this phone.

I don't know if it can be fixed with an update, but do your research thoroughly, this is a chronic problem of this device.

Hi! I am interested in this phone (Samsung Galaxy A25), but I can't decide between this phone and Redmi Note 13 Pro 4G. A quick search shows that the processor (Exynos 1280) used in A25 seems better than the one (Mediatek Helio G99 Ultra) used in Note 13 Pro 4G. On the other hand, protection (Gorilla Glass 5) and IP54 resistance give the Note 13 Pro an edge. Any thoughts? Thank you.

The charger is bad, the device gets hot, social media and applications are stuck, an urgent update is required.

A25 has these featur... moreOf course A25 is better than A15, but I’m talking from the perspective of best “value”. (Performance/Cost ratio)
At the A25 price range, you might be able to find A34 which is miles better than A25. I’m not implying “A15 is better”, I’m just implying that A15 is the one who’s super competitive at it’s price range this year whereas A25 merely competes with last year’s A34.
A15 however almost outperforms last year’s A24 in almost every single aspect. Therefore it clear that the real competitive deals from Samsung this year are the A15 & A35. (Whereas A25 & A55 are easily outshined by last year’s A34, A54/S23 FE respectively)

A25 has these features which the A15 doesn't have:
OIS camera
Stereo speakers
120 Hz screen refresh rate
4K video recording
A screen recorder
There's a reason why the A25 costs more. For me moving from the A22 5G to the A15 would almost have been a sideways move. Moving to the A25 is an upgrade.

Anonymous, 13 Apr 2024i never bought new phone.. anyone please recommend me samsu... moreThe best are either A54 / A35, you don’t need to spend extra on the A55 it’s almost the same as the one’s i mentioned unless you really care about having an aluminum frame or the slightly faster Exynos 1480 chip.
A54 has slightly better cameras whereas A35 has the larger screen size. So I highly recommend choosing between these two instead of buying A55. (If you’re on a budget & you’re okay with having a notch instead of a punch-hole, then the A34 is still a good deal)

Playing some Instagram videos stutters. Battery drains quickly and gets overheated from time to time. Exynos 1280 is not optimized.

A15 & A35 are the best phones this year. Whereas A25 & A55 are the bad overpriced deals.
You can find A34 for the same price as A25, and it’s much better than A25 except for lack of the headphone jack + 1 less year of updates.
But if you can tolerate that, then I highly recommend the A34 💙✌🏻

Wifi signal on the other hand is excellent. Especially compared to my old phone.
Always on display is an option.

Just got the 8gb 256gb version for a sweet discount of USD 199. Here's a couple of things i noticed in my 2 days of ownership. The chrome app shut down once randomly, instagram reels showing visible lag (however this could be solved with a reinstall) and the back of the phone getting hot after bootup. It hasn't heated up that much ever since but I'll keep updating of any shenanigans this phone brings up. When it comes to display, i feel like it's slightly colorless, if you know what i mean. Maybe I'll get used to it. So far, im good with the purchase because my 3 most regular apps as a small business owner are Instagram, whatsapp and chrome. Im happy to answer any questions.

According to more recent A54 and S24 users, it gets noticeably hot, processor optimization is a requirement.
