benedict123, 06 Jun 2024how long will the xiaomi 11 ultra software update last? im ... morei think hyper os 1 and android 14 are the last updates cuz as far as xiaomi policy goes, 3 os upgrades(11 to 14) and 3 UI (12.5 to hyper os 1), so yeah xiaomi sucks when it comes to updates and they are slow to update there devices, try looking in to samsung and s24 line cuz of 7 year update policy.

lol, 13 May 2024Xiaomi 11 ultra has overheating issues taht are so bad it c... moreI've recently updated from MIUI to HyperOS and... it feels the same 🤷♀️
There are some small changes and new features I'm sure but my general daily usage feels identical, always been super smooth and never encountered this apparent overheating problem either. So I wouldn't worry too much about it.
I guess it does get warm when doing lots of photography work, but not with simple browsing.
For reference this is the China model not Global, running in English, 256GB/White and I imported it to Australia late 2021 - longest I've ever kept a phone and have no intention to change it for years to come 👍

Does it become smoother and do the phone still heats up on basic task like browsing and doing social media? Thank you because I am planning to install this rom by next week.

Mine i fully charged and use around 2 hrs the battery drop to 30%. Or maybe i have too many apps on it.

how is this better than mi 11?? even the camera is worse (8k@24fps and mi11 has 8k@30fps)

Ok Now I have official Hyper OS In Mi 11 Ultra! (Chines ROM)
here are the changes after update:
android is 14 now! some icons changed,notification bar changed, a new moon wallpaper added to the super wallpapers! A new font added! haptic feedback improved! a new charge animation added!
Everything is smooth and good! no bug or lag detected! So update when available for your region!!
