Guess gets into the Android Wear game

Vlad, 20 March 2017

The latest traditional watch brand to dive into the Android Wear space and announce some smartwatches is Guess. It will launch a new Connect collection this fall, and the watches will run Android Wear 2.0.

As you'd expect, the Qualcomm Snapdragon Wear 2100 chipset will be at the helm, though other specs haven't been shared. Given what's par for the course in the Android Wear world, we'd expect that to be paired with either 512 or 768MB of RAM and 4GB of storage.

As you can see, the Guess watches come with round touchscreens. There will be both men's and women's styles, the former with a 44mm case and the latter with a 41mm case. You can see the ladies' watch on the left in the image above. It's got clear crystals on its case, and will come in "a variety of silver, gold, and rose gold variations". Men's watches will be offered in both dress and sport styles.

The pre-installed watch faces will give you over a hundred possible combinations of display face, color, and sub dials. "Trendy" interchangeable straps will be offered to go with your dial choices. Pricing hasn't been announced.

I totaly agree with you. I also wonder what´ll happen to those cars, like Mercedes S-class with screens instead of dash boards.
