The P5 is quite a relable phone
but bhow do i activate the laser
option on it. I`m in Zimbabwe
and i think it adds value to it
pliz reply if you know how to activate
the laser

Hi, i have a Haier P5 phone.It was given to me as a gift. I have been enjoying the phone not until recently i started having problems with the phone. First and foremost, the battery is getting weak and i don't know how 2 get a new one. Secondly, each time i have a call i dont get to hear d the person calling me and the person calling will not hear me either. I was told its a software problem.
I dont know how u can help me to get my phone working again. I really wouldn't want to do a way with the phone. I really need ur help pls.

Just bought P5 and looking at forum lots i do not understand, lazer how? earpiece volume too low ! otherwise dead chuffed with it any help would be much appreciated. thanks

Hi folks,
actually I am on search for somebody who can tell me, how I can activate the laser in the P5. For your understanding: The actual P5 (delivered in Europe) is without an Laser option in the menue. This is because Haier had to switch off the laser option because the laser does not fullfill the European security for lasers. But, as far as I know, the laser is still integrated - I will need some firmware ore maybe a code to re-activate the laser. Anyway, I am from Germany and travelling to Malaysia end of the month - maybe i get some hint´s there. (I am mangaer for asia-pacific, and there the laser is allowed to use). So, if anybody has a helping hand for me - please email me.

Hey, can somebody say me, if its true, that the P5 switch off when you edit the sms. Is the P5 able to save SMS AND how many? How are the SMS written and read? From the bottom down or from the left to the right side?

when someone is trying to say they dont have a laser option in there menu why dont you understand???? ITS NOT IN THE MENU the bulb for the laser is at the bottom like the rest but can access it at all there is nothing in treasure box nothing in the sort cuts either so now what????

i bought my p5 end of 2003. in my opinion, p5 is a very reliable phone. it is easy to operate and etc. but i am having problem with it now. it seems that the phone battery is no longer in good condition because whenever i receive an incoming call, the phone will off by itself. i have send the phone about 3 times to the shop where i bought it but still can't find the solution. if anyone can help me, please e-mail me. i bought my p5 phone in sabah, malaysia. i would really appreciate if anyone can help me with my problem. thank you.

I've used the P5 phone for so long.Its been really good and fun to have that phone.I want to know where i can acquire the battery and maybe the housing/case to make it look good again.

I bought my phone in the UK, a shop called Kings of GSM in Brighton on Preston Street. To use my laser I press down on the wheel (if you hold it upright/vertically like the picture, otherwise press right if you hold it sideways/horizontally) and it takes me to a sort of quick-menu that has 10 options, the first being "messages" and the last being "laser" and once you click green on that you just have to press the number keys to get it to "shoot"!
I have a question about my phone, as it keeps popping up the message "read info msg now?" and it gives me the local area codes when I read it. It's really annoying, does anyone have any idea how to get it off?
Apart from that, flashy phone, get loads of attention but the price of that is it's functionality.
