Pre-orders for the 5th generation of Galaxy Z foldables are now live, here is a quick look at the prices. The Galaxy Z Fold5 got pricier in some regions, while the Z Flip5 is actually a bit cheaper in places. As usual, there are pre-order perks to entice new and existing customers to pick up a Z foldable.

Samsung US offers a $200 minimum trade-in credit and you can go up to $1,000. Also, there is a free storage upgrade from 256GB to 512GB, while the 1TB model is $150 off (temporarily). Students can get a 15% discount to boot. And finally, if you pre-reserved a device, don’t forget that you have $50 credit to collect.

A quick word on trade-in values, a Galaxy Z Fold4 in good condition is worth the maximum $1,000, one with a cracked screen can convert into $800 credit. The older Z Fold3 will fetch $800/$600. A Galaxy S21 Ultra is also worth $800/$600.
Samsung Galaxy Z Flip5 and Z Fold5
The Galaxy Z Flip5 trade-in deal also starts with a $200 minimum and can go up to $900. Pre-orders get a free storage upgrade to 512GB. Students can get 10% off the flip.
For trading in, a Z Flip4 is worth the maximum $900 if it’s in a good condition, $700 if the screen is cracked. The Z Flip3 will fetch $700/$500, while something like a Galaxy S21 is worth $400/$200.

There are some bundles that you may want to consider too. If you get a Galaxy Z Flip5, you can also pick up a Galaxy Watch6 with a discount of up to $240, which sets the price of the vanilla model at $150 and the Watch6 Classic price at $200.
Alternatively, you can grab the Galaxy Buds2 Pro with a $180 discount (bringing their price down to just $50). Or you can grab a Galaxy Tab S9 with up to $300 discount, so the tablets start at $600 for the Tab S9, $700 for the Tab S9+ and $900 for the Tab S9 Ultra. Note: the watch and tablet combos also come with additional savings when trading in an old device.

US prices are without VAT, European include it (they count average 20 %). But I'm not happy that Europe gets price hike while US price goes down. Not supporting that.

I mean isn't it obvious? the US is the best!, so in turn, the US gets the best prices.
