Here's how much a battery replacement will cost for the iPhone 17 models and the iPhone Air
Today Apple has published its out-of-warranty repair costs for the iPhone 17, iPhone 17 Pro, iPhone 17 Pro Max, and iPhone Air, which it unveiled earlier this week. The phones will be released on September 19, and just went up for pre-order today.

Apple iPhone 17 Pro
A battery replacement costs $99 for the iPhone 17, and $119 for the iPhone 17 Pro, iPhone 17 Pro Max, and iPhone Air. A cracked screen will cost you $329 for the iPhone 17, iPhone 17 Pro, and iPhone Air, and $379 for the iPhone 17 Pro Max. A replacement of the glass back cover is $159 for all four models. Bundling the screen repair with the back glass repair is $419 for all except the iPhone 17 Pro Max, where it's $469.
A rear camera replacement is $169 for the iPhone 17 and iPhone Air, and $249 for the iPhone 17 Pro and Pro Max. Finally, anything classed as "other damage" will set you back $599 for the iPhone 17, $699 for the iPhone Air, $749 for the iPhone 17 Pro, and $799 for the iPhone 17 Pro Max.

Note that all these prices apply if you don't have an AppleCare plan for your device. If you do, the fees are much reduced.

They should cost 50 usd (or 70 maxed if they want to stretch it) for a battery replacement. 100 usd is way too much

Chinese brands and Samsung do use better battery. My GF's S23 Ultra is still 95% after 2 years and 299 cycles. iPhones would be 92% and lower after 2 years
