Here’s what multi-tasking will look like on Samsung’s tri-fold
We already know that Samsung will launch its first tri-fold smartphone later this year and we now have an early look at the device’s multi-tasking UI. Based on leaked details shared by SamMobile, Samsung’s tri-fold will allow users to run three regular phone screen-sized app windows side by side in both vertical and horizontal arrangements. Samsung will apparently call this feature “Split Trio”.
In addition, Samsung will reportedly allow users to mirror up to three home screen pages from the external screen onto the main folding display.
While Samsung has yet to confirm the device's official name, rumors suggest it may be called Galaxy G Fold or simply Galaxy Z TriFold. Whichever name Samsung decides, it is expected to feature an immersive 10.1-inch folding screen and a 6.54-inch cover display. The device is also rumored to weigh around 298g, and come with a Snapdragon 8 Elite chip, and a triple camera setup.
