Here's when the MediaTek Dimensity 9400+ is launching
MediaTek has announced its Dimensity Developer Conference taking place on April 11, just as Digital Chat Station anticipated last week. While the company has refrained from mentioning the much-rumored Dimensity 9400+ chipset in its announcement, it's pretty clear that it will be unveiled on that occasion.
That's because MediaTek says a flagship 5G AI chipset will be presented, and what can that be if not the Dimensity 9400+. Plus, the timeline fits with when we've heard that the first devices using this chip are due to launch - you guessed it, in April. Think Oppo Find X8S, vivo X200S, and many more.
The Dimensity 9400+ is expected to be very similar to the 9400, which was unveiled last year, but with a higher CPU clock for its Cortex-X925 super core. This will now allegedly go up to 3.7GHz from 3.62GHz - granted, that's not the biggest improvement ever. Hopefully there will be more to warrant the new SoC's "+" designation. Anyway, we'll know for sure in about a month.
