such an uglty camera setup

    It seems like HMD rushed this product to it's demise. I was wondering why there are no reviews at the launch. They had a uncooked phone at hand on which there are speculations that it may get 1 OS update.
    Even their flagship phone skyline is not optimised which recently got stabilisation for 4k 30 video recording.
    HMD needed to make an impression with their first device. Rather than going for the ₹15k segment they could have produced a better phone in 20k segment. 20k segment is both popular and a decent place to show some good tech.
    I wish better luck for HMDs next effort.

      Given the price, specs are fine. I had nokia 6.1 plus in the past, it had only 16 MP camera,but photo quality was very good. Battery backup was good for small 3000 mah battery. It felt solid in hands, thin but dense and heavy. I even want to buy it again for its feel. But it had two faults, not only the battery was small 3000 mah only , its usb-c charging port was weak too, had to fix it twice from nokia service centre, though service centre service was good and they replaced it in 1 hour both times. Otherwise i had great experience, esp with picture quality. I think i will check this crest 5g at store before buying, if i did. Price seems ok..

            Unisuck chipset and side mounted fingerprint sensor on an oled? They've raided an old parts bin.. No wonder it's not called Nokia coz this is dead before it's launched.

                  Looks not too so bad... Question is will it get updates ever? Currently I have OnePlus phone. OnePlus has charger cable case and pre installed screen protector in the box. Best ever

                            Looking back at the Nokias that were released from 2017-2023, and I had the fortune of buying 4 of them, I can say they were aimed towards: 1. Those that have an active lifestyle 2. Ethnicities that may be sinophobic and refuse to buy a single Chinese phone (not necessarily only Europeans) 3. The elderly 4. Smokers 5. Those unemployed living off EU benefits or living elsewhere leeching off welfare, since the phones all were charging SO slow 6. And now with the HMD Skyline being solely pink everybody knows they are marketing this device towards women and banking on their purchases (who might possibly be European and/or racist like a certain C**** here).

                            Oh yes reading about the so-called repairability of these "new" HMDs and then clicking self-repair on their site and then seeing that batteries are only available for shipping within certain regions was the absolute last straw.

                            Good riddance and goodbye, this is one disgruntled customer who will be extremely hard-pressed to ever purchase a HMD device ever again.

                              Only 1080p30 recording, you sure about that? T760 is 4k30 capable.

                                  Basically a Nubia Neo with an ultrawide. Not exceptional, but but bad either.

                                    Why this one has a different main cam. I am suspicious that the base model crest will have bad cameras. Just like the ones on pulse pro.
                                    Last year's g42 has better cameras than new pulse phones qith 50MP selfie cams.

                                      Chipset lets it down as always.

                                      Lose one ultrawide camera, just go for the CMF Phone 1. Or yet, go for the A25.

I am suspicious that... moreBut the G42 is midranged spec'ed with snapdragon 480+ & everything else whilst the crest is mainly a budget friendly entry level spec with Unisoc T760 5G phone so thats to be expected.

                                        Eitherway I like the color & design of the back of this phone.
