HMD may have cancelled the Nokia 9 with 4GB RAM in favor of the 6GB model

Peter, 19 June 2017

Well, that clears it us – we’ve seen three different Nokia 9 versions with 4GB, 6GB and 8GB of RAM. The phone was recently certified by the FCC but it seems that the commission got a letter from HMD, asking them to transfer the TA-1004 permits to the TA-T1012.

In short, it seems that HMD decided against selling the 4GB version of the Nokia flagship, instead focusing on the 6GB model (and perhaps the 8GB one).

RAM aside, the various certifications and benchmark results have shown that the Nokia 9 will have a 5.3” QHD screen, Snapdragon 835 chipset and a 13MP dual camera.
