Honor 10 Lite debuts with gradient colors and sub-$300 price
Huawei created Honor as a brand for the young audience with massive online presence, and its latest attempt to appeal to such customers is called Honor 10 Lite. The new device has 6.21” screen and Kirin 710 with support for GPU Turbo 2.0, but the most prominent feature, according to the company, is the fancy gradient back panel in red or blue.
The Honor 10 Lite is hardly any different from Honor 8X on the inside - the 12 nm SoC by HiSilicon is coupled with 4 GB or 6 GB RAM with up to 128 GB internal storage. The main camera setup has a 13 MP shooter with f/1.8 aperture and a secondary 2 MP sensor for depth sensing.
The game-changer is the 24 MP front-facing camera that can do pixel-binning to emulate 1.8µm pixel size and recognizes at least eight different scenes. It also learns from your selfies and optimizes them with time.
Honor 10 Lite in all its colors
We are still 2018 and the keyword “AI” is now embroidered all over the selfie shooter. In Portrait Mode you can change the shape of the face, its color, the surrounding light, the size and color of the eye and you can whiten your teeth. Because there’s nothing more intelligent than an artificial selfie that has nothing to do with you.
Other specs of the phone include 3,000 mAh battery and latest EMUI 9, based on Android Pie. This means features like Adaptive Battery, Adaptive Brightness and Android Dashboard are now coming out of the box.
Offered in Midnight Black, Lily White, Gradient Blue, and Gradient Red, the phone has three versions - CNY1,399 ($200/€175) for the 4/64 GB variant, CNY1,699 ($245/€215) for a 6/64 GB unit and CNY1,899 ($275/€240) for the most powerful 6/128 GB 10 Lite.
Honor 10 Lite is already available for order and will start shipping as early as tomorrow when it will arrive at offline stores as well. For now, it can be found at Huawei’s own online store Vmall.
