fitifititis, I think you are making an excellent choice by buying this phone. I am still in love with mine, and still laughing at Nexcus 4 and crapple.
1. The only suck thing about owning a Honor 2 at this time is getting insurance. No US insurance company is willing to cover it; they don't know this brand and they don't know the seller in China (buy360.com in my case, this is Chinese version of Amazon)
2. You need to remove the Chinese settings and enable Google Play store by updating the firmware. It is very easy trust me, all you need is a microSD card (up to 32GB) and download the new firmware onto the card. Follow the guide, it only takes about 3, 4 mins.
Those are the ONLY two things that I can come up with right now. Huawei has their support team in Atlanta, I think. I have not got the need to email or call them.
