I wanted Honor 200 (512gb) over Samsung Galaxy A55 and Oppo Reno12 F (these are the given phone options for our telco plan). because the Antutu score for Honor 200 is the highest. but the IP rating is such a turnoff

I've been thinking about buying either honor 200 or xiaomi 14t. They are about the same price range from where I'm living. The only downside for me is the ip rating and the glass. I'm gonna use it long-term and love taking pictures and videos. What would be a better option? And also the ip rating and glass, is it really that important? Help me please thank you

A great sensor, 900 series. Sadly honor are over doing noise reduction leading to smudged details on clothing, wood grain and even hair. I hope they can update to give a choice on NR levels or just reduce it. For now I'll keep using gcam that makes the most of the imx906 for important events and poor lighting situations.
Not sure how to petition them to change and improve what could be an excellent camera

1. Get Honor 200 for a longer software support, a better camera setup, Si/C battery which is efficient, it's a little more comfortable to hold
2. Buy Honor X9c as the latest budget phone with 3 times lossless zoom, drop-resistance and an IP 65 rating. Also there's a 300% volume, but it's just an advertising thing.
3. Buy Honor 90 for it's affordability, but don't expect better cameras and perfomance. So deffo, buy Honor 200 for cameras and smooth perfomance

Get Honor 200, it has smoother perfomance than Nothing OS, even though Nothing phones have less bloatware, but its chipset is Mediatek, so definitely go for a Honor phone, you'll get more camera features and higher gaming capabilities thanks to Snapdragon mid-range chipset.

I used Honor ... moresold on paper, but they are family and they keep getting better, and for me they are the best, if only they could install Kirin processors (which are banned) and then everyone else can dream.

How is the software experience in Honor 200?
I used Honor phones when it was sub brand of Huawei, a leading smartphone brand and it was really good back then I remember I had the Honor Play, it was buttery smooth with great in built features. Now planning to get this phone lil confused since Huawei sold Honor brand and now that it is independent so if anyone have this please share your experiences with this phone, especially the software.. is it good and stable?
