I had this for a few days. Not impressed.
It looks nice & is light. Performance is good for basic tasks.
camera/video quality is very poor. No eis/ois for video recording. Videos look terrible and shaky. Should have basic eis at this price.
Battery life only (very) good on standby. Watching videos & using social media apps make the battery drain very very fast.
Sound quality poor via speaker & my Bluetooth headphones. Also My wired usbc adapters also dont work on this phone to connect my wired earphones.
Magic os 8 is very frustrating. Still cannot long press app icon to access the app settings. The only option is to uninstall. Why have honor not added this very very very basic ui feature in magic 8???
It is not worth current price. Maybe later on when discounted, it could be worth it. But camera, sound & battery life are not good.
I also tried honor 200 (not pro). Much better phone but same crappy ui problem not being able to long press app for app settings. I am very used to this basic feature as many other brands have it and have had it for many years. Ui is dated. Needs updating

digihash, 15 Jun 2024how is usability. Pro's and Cons. Battery, Network, ... moreThe Mediatek is noticeably less fluid than the SD Magic 6 lite, the screen is flat and the phone sig thicker although lighter. There is a fair amount of bloatware but it can be removed.
Battery is good, reception about the same but the phone feels cheaper.

Had this a few days and the Always on display switches off after five seconds, unlike the Magic 5 and 6 lite. There are no settings - it seems they are following Xiaomi and Motorola.
I work in a noisy environment and can't be tapping my phone to check it all the time so it's going back.

the... moremmm that's good, I was thinking of getting the 200 or 200 Pro but I think they will be out of my price range and I think they will release in the UAE later than 12th of June because nothing on the webpage regarding both phones for now.
So I think maybe I will get this one

Just bought it, for 99 Omani Riyal with Honor 7 band as a gift
I think it is beautiful look similar to I phone, light in hand, screen is also colorful and beautiful
some features not all will appraise, but they make your daily life really easier : finger print sensor at the side not under screen, and flat screen without edge curves, comes with screen protector and cover in the box, a charger and USB cable, head phones and USBC to 3.5mm converter all in the box. and most importantly, they claim 5 stars SDS drop test for durability.
pros: flash light front and back
cameras are OK, selfies looked good in room lighting
honor OS seems light and have nice features (parellel space + app clone) however they are limited to certain apps not all apps like Xiaomi.
cons:
no OIS stability, only 1080 for both front and back
