Choose "WCDMA only". Not "WCDMA/GSM auto."
I guess you also have to make sure your sim card is capable of using 3G. :)

Anyways, just keep mind of the following: Always keep your brightness to the lowest possible option unless it's really sunny. Make sure to turn off bluetooth, wifi and mobile data when not in use. Likewise, turn off auto-sync and GPS. Make it a habit to tap the optimizer widget when you're done with what you're doing. Put the widget on your home screen if you haven't already. (This is because some apps continue to run in the background). If you're really desperate for extra battery, choose a theme that use dark colors.
Heck, I do all these and my battery still only lasts for a day at most. The phone has a low capacity battery for such a high performance device so no wonder. Just make sure you use the phone wisely. :) Good luck.

You can set the Google keyboard to disable predictions and all the unnecessary stuff.

Hi. I checked the specs of the Meizu phone. I have no doubt that their specs beat Huawei Honor 4c in almost every aspect. Some significant specs include the ff: network connectivity (Meizu supports LTE), battery, display, weight and internal memory. I guess the missing memory card slot would put you off but at least the internal memory capacity of the Meizu phone is 16-32 GB.
However, I've never heard of Meizu before. So I went on to the opinions and the first thing I see is a black screen problem. The phone is probably too good to be true. I'd stay away from it. On the other hand, Huaweii is an established brand. In terms of specs, Honor 4c is inferior and a lot of people hate it's short battery life. But I have not yet read any opinion of the phone breaking by itself. So far, I'm really satisfied with my own Honor 4c. It's not like my country offers good LTE coverage anyway. :)

Step 2: Connect your Honor 4C to the PC in mass storage or MTP mode. Make sure its external microSD card has FAT32 formatting.
Step 3: Copy the extracted ‘dload’ folder (containing Update.app package) to the main folder of your phone’s SD card. It should have more than enough space to accommodate the firmware.
Step 4: Unplug the USB cable and open the Updater app from Settings > Updates. Tap menu > Local update, select the Update.app package and confirm its installation.
Step 5: Your phone will automatically reboot, verify the new firmware and install it.
Step 6: If, for some reason, youÂ’re unable to access local update, simply turn off your phone and then reboot by holding Vol up + Vol down + Power button simultaneously for a couple of secs.

I bought a Honor 4c lAst year Other then Heating I didn't notice any issue. It worked realy well. Both cameras were good processor speed was Good. It was better then Any Samsung Phone available at Same price or even Some phones with higher price tag.
