As for the battery life, make sure to close all the apps when you're done with them. Some of them will keep running even in the background. Hold the square/menu button and drag from the buttom of the screen. Manage your apps by going to Settings

I've been using this for about a month now. I've already updated it to Lollipop. Here's my experience.

                        What I liked about it(pros):
-The hardware specs. 2GB ram for such an affordable price? Camera isn't too shabby either.
-The price. Worth it. And it came with a free screen protector inside the box. Horaay!
-Gestures. You can double-tap to turn on the screen. While turned off, you can also draw letters to automatically open apps. But I don't like the latter because when using a screen lock, it still prompts you to enter your password. That defeats the purpose of a shortcut.
-Privacy Protection. You can set up a different PIN/Password for visitors. You can customize what they can see and they won't even notice.
                        -OTG cable support. Yay.

What I did not like about it (cons):
-The screen. It looks so cheap when it's turned on and there's a thick black space outlining the screen. Because the real screen doesn't reach the edges of the black rectangular space that is normally expected to be part of the screen. As such, the size of the phone is larger that it should be. I recommend you to buy the black version of this device so that this ugliness isn't noticeable.
-The overall design. It's obviously "inspired" by a certain phone brand. Plus, it would have been better if they put "Huawei" instead of "Honor" on the back. Nobody recognizes what brand Honor is.
-Battery life. Compared to the Samsung Tab that I've been using, the battery on this one drains a lot faster. At least it has an ultra-power saving mode. If battery drains too fast for you, be sure to close all the apps when you're not using them! Many of them still run on the background.
-Heating. I noticed that it heats up a lot faster.
-The automatic "Beauty" effect with the front camera. I don't like it and it's stupid. But there's no option in the settings to remove it. I don't want to replace the Camera app because this app has a shortcut on the lock screen (which is very convenient.)
-The launcher and its lack of an app drawer. This can be easily fixed by downloading a different launcher from Google Play. But that will defeat the purpose of many of this phone's features.
-Size of internal storare and inability to move apps. Only selected apps can be moved to the SD card. And even when they're moved, about half of the data is still left on the internal storage. You can't even move Facebook or Youtube, both of which are very big apps. This is a problem because only 3GB is left for the user after the space taken up by the OS and bloatware. In my tab, the OS and system apps still left me with free 5GB of space.
-Sim slots. It's very difficult to remove the sim cards. You would need very thin pins to push your sim card out. Most of the time when I attempt to remove a sim card, I'm scared of damaging the sim and the sim slots.
-Huawei Swype keyboard. For reasons unknown to me, even after turning off all prediction features in the settings, there's still this extra layer on the keyboard trying to predict words for you. I don't like this feature as it takes up unnecessary space and it's not very helpful because I am bilingual.
-Google keyboard on the messaging app. The "enter" button on the keyboard is replaced by a smiley button. It removes the ability to format your text messages. Consequently, I'm sometimes forced to switch between keyboards. *Sigh*
-The soft-key buttons. They're not lit. And for some reason, the manufacturer decided to confuse us by switching the back button with the menu button. There's a suspend button available to remedy this. But I don't like that either because you can't customize it.
-The lock screen. I just don't see the need to swipe the screen before showing us the password/pattern/PIN screen. It's just an unnecessary additonal step.
-Lack of online community. This is unavoidable as the phone is not very popular. When I had a question regarding my Samsung Tab, I could easily google it and find answers from other users. For this one, it's very difficult.

I give my hats off to the Huawei salesperson who sold me this device. I came to the shop looking for an Asus phone that I already researched on, but ended up going home with this phone I did not even hear about beforehand. I'm still bummed that he lied to me about being able to move 100% of my apps to the SD card. But for the price, I'd say this phone is worth it.

Minutes into playing Clash of Clans, I got a temperature reading of 42 degrees Celsius. On my previous device, COC did heat up my device after playing for a while but never to this extent and not this fast. If you plan to play COC, don't buy this device.
