This phone has a failure with the notification LED.
The problem is for 3rd party apps like Viber, Huawei doesnt support for the notification LED to be light up.
this is a nice feature which allows the user to be notified without switching the screen time to time to check for new messages in viber.
Huawei suggested that all the other phones has this feature except P8lite (Huawei in WTC confirmed that it is not working in p8 lite as well as in Honor 4x) .
Other phones like Honor 3C honor Holly has this nice feature..
Battery on my phone doesnt do well. drains to 75% in 6hours of idle at night (100% charged in the morning 75% left. So if not charged from night till morning I have only 75% of battery left for the day. in 3G/4G network. with or without data ON )

Not a best phone with a large battery like 3000MaH

    Hello guys 4x February 2016 upgrade to Marshmallow. Is it directly kit Kat to Marshmallow on ota notification upgrade or else manually upgrade please replay me guys

          Anonymous, 19 Dec 2015is huawei honor 4x has a quad core or octa core processor? It comes with both Qualcomm 410 and kirin 620 SoC's..just choose which model you want..I think india has only Qualcomm version and middle east country's has only kirin chipset used honor 4X.

            Drain battery about 1% and switch off, then put it n charge for 4-5hrs.. Then switch on, if the batry is about 90-99% charge again fir 100%..

                I had brought my phone about 6 months ago... It's 4.4.4 KitKat... I didn'went for a single update.. So I'm facing no problems.... I'm satisfied with this phone... Camera is amazing..... Love it.. Any doubts??

                            1. Screen lights up for each an every message (Wasting battery - No way of fixing it KitKat 4.4.2)
                            2 No LED notification for Viber.
                            3. in 4G/3G Network the battery barely lasts for 1 day
                            (Charged to 100%, in 3G network, even DATA is switched off and with only the default apps.. All Syncs disabled after about 6 hours, 75% of battery left. Lets say charged fully at night and when I wake up the 75% of battery left :( )

                            Unless you take a another battery with you, and if you are using phone for browsing Internet and so on, this is not a good phone according to my experience.

                            I have given it to the Local service center as it is under warranty , but they were not able to fix my problmes yet. I am waiting for an answer.
                            Honor 3C is a good phone. Doesnt have 4G thats why I went for this shity honor 4x :(

                                    It's an awesome phone...I love it...I think its cyanogen version is superb...its very different and easy to use....when I googled about honor 4x lollipop update...its reviews shows bad replya...most of them who updated says its stucking reebooting and lots of problems...I think u guys pls wait for a better lollipop update otherwise u will hate ur phone...so lets just calm an wait for it

For india the site is hihonor.in

                                        Thanks for the information. This doesnt fix the issue I have so far. (as I remember I have all the settings correctly. if I check the the scrren to wake up it will switch on the screen when a message comes. but not the LED I dont know .... y)
                                        I have checked with Huawei about he settings and the local delear (Singer). No one couldn't fix it.
                                        They I think have updated the software when I send it to the service center and unfortunately that even doesn't solve my viber problem (Notification LED doesn't come up. They even check for the settings...)

                                        According to Huawei, it should work because, they said they have tested and it should be a fault with the phone. On the other hand LED works with Whatsapp, google hangout (It is the green light anyway..) I have tried this lighmanager, and it seems that for some colors the light doesn't come up in honor 4x where it works in Y300.

                                        I have to wait couple of more days to get an answer from the local dealer, as they need to talk with huawei with the two issue I have reported
                                        1. Viber notification LED
                                        2. Battery last barely for one day in 3G mode. (Even if I keep it on without doing using. No background apps newly installed )
