Honor 500 seemingly runs Geekbench revealing its chipset and memory amount

Vlad, 05 November 2025

Honor is expected to unveil the 500 and 500 Pro mid-rangers before the end of the year, and ahead of that we've recently seen a leaked design sketch for the former, which shows an entirely new design on the back, clearly inspired by Google's Pixel series.

Now, the Honor 500 seems to have run Geekbench - a prototype, we mean. This identifies with the model number MEY-AN00. It managed a 2,113 single-core score and a 6,539 multi-core score in Geekbench 6.3. It's powered by Qualcomm's Snapdragon 8s Gen 4 SoC, paired with 16GB of RAM.

The prototype runs Android 16, so the final product definitely will too. Interestingly, the Honor 500 was previously rumored to employ the Snapdragon 7 Gen 4 SoC, but that may have changed during the development process (or it was never true to begin with). For reference, note that the Honor 400 launched in May with the Snapdragon 7 Gen 3 on board.

The Honor 500 is expected to sport a 6.5-inch AMOLED screen with 120Hz refresh rate, and improved cameras compared to its predecessor. We'll let you know when we find out more about it.
