Honor 50 and 50 Pro receive 3C certification confirming 66W and 100W charging
The Honor brand is expected to announce its next flagship lineup following Huawei’s selling of the brand. The Honor 50 lineup is expected to be announced by the brand as early as this month. The latest news comes from China’s 3C where two of the Honor 50 models were certified with their bundled power adapters.
As MyFixGuide reports, there are two models certified in this listing. The NTH-AN00 is the vanilla variant of the Honor 50, meanwhile, the NRA-AN00 represents the Pro variant. According to the certification, these devices will be bundled with 66W and 100W power adapters.
The first charger (HW-110600C00) is the same one that’s bundled with the Honor V40 series. Meanwhile, the second charger (HN-200500C00) is Honor’s own 100W (20V @ 5A) power adapter which also supports the 66W (11V @ 6A) charger’s max charging speed of the same wattage. It will also support 40W (10V @ 4A) and 10W (5V @ 2A) charging.
Previous reports have shown the Honor 50 to bear resemblance to the Huawei nova8 Pro, it will have a pill-shaped camera setup containing two rings. As revealed in alleged renders, the Honor 50 will house a single main camera in the upper ring and two more cameras in the lower ring.
Honor 50 design sketchWe expect two Honor 50 models, one to be powered by the Snapdragon 870 while the Pro variant is believed to be powered by the Snapdragon 888. Previously leaked specs of the high-end Honor 50 variant point to 6.79-inch AMOLED screen with 120Hz refresh rate, 1440p+ resolution, and a 4,400 mAh battery. Three cameras on the back consist of a 50MP main camera, a 13MP ultrawide, and 1n 8MP telephoto camera, possible with a periscope lens. It’s expected that the front cameras will be 32MP + 8MP, likely with different focal lengths.

For people who don't know what real gaming is (or are too poor to have real gaming rig) and need a surrogate? Just a trend and hype to make more money? I don't care much? Take Your pick. ;) Better cooling and additional buttons aside, there...
