Honor 5X sales cross 8 million mark

Himanshu, 13 June, 2016

Huawei has revealed that the global sales of its Honor 5X smartphone has crossed the 8 million mark. The revelation was made by Zhao Ming (who heads the Chinese company's Honor brand) during the unveiling of Honor 5A in China yesterday.

Ming also said the company is confident that the sales will eventually cross the 10 million milestone, although he didn't give any specific time-frame.

The device was launched in China back in October last year, and it landed in the United States this January. Europe got the handset just a few days after the US. The phone is available as the GR5 in Canada.
