Not going to rip Honor to bad but the 7x is awful.... The US version does NOT have any of the functions that the european or the asian versions have. Its not a true dual camera.. The US version does not get any updates. Current build for US is B138 all other version currently on B192. When support was contacted I was told huh let me investigate, still waiting for answer - 6 days since request. B192 gets ar lens and facial recognition.... again like my Honor 8 - promises promises promises but no delivery... last Honor product I purchase.
Last time i called Honor's support it was so scripted and their fix for everything is to hard reset and even had the balls to ask if i had cleaned the lens for the camera due to the grainy low light pictures... They also cotradicted themselves.... I was told they do not have any updates... They already have B192 which has the facial recognition / AR Lens – Asia / European models. B140 which only has AR Lens update only for US models and also was told that US might not get further patches asked why and I got no response.
The SDCard is formatted with Honor's own proprietary formatting so you cannot pop out the card and stick it in another device or reader. As stated above low light pictures no matter what setting its on is so grainy they look like a 10 year old camera took it. It only has a 2.4ghz and micro usb for charging. Blue tooth constantly drops connection to headphones and car connection... Calling someone is worse, call drops are about 5 dropped to 1 good connection. Another issue is yes it has alot of memory but 75% is used by system resources that cannot be turned off or you loose functionality of the device. Support for US based devices is poor, their fix for 95% of the issues i had were to hard reset the device or clear the cache.... Their warranty policy is awful as well, just as a FYI you turn in a NEW phone with a 1 year warranty - you get back a refurb with only a 90 day warranty - pretty poor if you ask me... There are a bunch of phones for a bit more that offer better quality and better support in the US - I personally would stay far away from Honor products until the actually have a support center that knows how to fix things other than reboots, clearing cache or wiping the device to fix things. I have had a 5x, 6x a 8 and lastly a 7x which is being returned due to poor quality

Hi I'm from the uk, I have the honor 7x in blue. My screen does not light up when I get a notification...I've been in the notification settings and there IS NO SETTING FOR "SCREEN TURN ON" AT ALL. please help??? Other people from around the world has this on the exact same phone but I do not?! Does anything else have this problem? Please help

I think the 4gb/64gb variant is priced a bit higher. The price for the Honor 7x 4gb/64gb variant should be lowered to Rs.15000. Now that Redmi Note 5 Pro 4gb/64gb is out for Rs.14000 and 6gb/64gb for Rs.17000, honor 7x's current price of Rs.16000 does not justify.

However, it has been confirmed by Huawei that the Honor 7x will be receiving an EMUI 8.0 And Android 8.0 Oreo update sometime this month (February). I wish that the phone would come with it out of the box but I am glad to hear that it will be coming soon

I got my new honor 7x one month before
Performance wise and look is awesome
But sometimes it get switched off automatically I don't know the reason why it happens

I'm between this lovely 7x and Mate 10 Lite (the price difference is only 10euros in my country).
Does 7x have AR Lens? And will it get emui 8 with Oreo?
Apart from calls I mostly use the phone for taking pictures and watching videos, gaming not that hardcore.. the only heavy games I play is Lineage and Hearthstone.
Could someone please give me his advice to pick one that will suit me the most?
