I have been using this phone since the last 6 months and absolutely love it.
My one grouse is the audio quality, or rather the lack of audio quality of the phone. The speakers simply dont sound the way they should.
And, of course, dust/water proofing would have been the proverbial feather in the cap.

Please see my twitter account @y4yoga I have posted a tweet with that screenshot to honorindia for help.

Click on the 'Review' tab above these posts and go to section 8 (Multimedia, audio quality) and scroll down to 'Music Player' and tell me if your music app looks the same as in the photos.

I have talked to the Support guy in HiHonor site, he too don't have any idea how to resolve and is asking me to reset settings. I have recently Logged in huawei ID in my mobile, I think this is the problem, even after I logged out it's still the same. Does any one who have logged in to their Huawei ID in mobile and facing same problem?

Anonymous, 22 Dec 2017No, you open the music app in the app drawer !In Music app there are 4 tabs Featured, Rankings, MV and Me. In this 4 the Me tab has my songs.... But I want to disable the remaining 3 tabs. How to do?

And oneplus 5 only got their oreo recently. Maybe honor 8 pro a bit late because they have their own tweaked software, unlike oneplus which about 95% stock android. I dont mind that as emui 5, 7.0 nougat on honor phone even have some of oreo features which stock 7.0 dont have. Oneplus 5t nemesis is Honor View 10, which will got oreo out of the box and a bit cheaper.

gmail is no... moreIts because of the battery saving features on emui cause the halt notifications. But no worries, it has a solution.
1. Go to settings>battery, tap on the settings icon on top right corner, make sure everthing off in there except keep mobile data on during sleep.
2. Go to settings>battery>lock screen cleanup, make sure your desire apps not turn on.
3. Go to settings>apps, tap on the setting icon on center, go to special access>ignore optimisations, change to all apps, choose your desire apps, and make it allowed.
Voila! All sets and your desire apps will be working normally without notification halted. Hope it helps.

gmail is not even opening
email is opening but we cannot read any mail.
daily hunt app is also not supported
