My Honor 8 Pro is still stuck on Android v7.0 and Security Level dated 5th July 2017. Not good enough, if Huawei continue to treat their customers with this kind of contempt then my next phone certainly won't be an Huawei one!

Even oneplus 3t with older snapdragon 821 performs better in gaming than honor 8 pro. Can save your budget. Other than gaming, honor 8 pro excels and better than oneplus. I own honor 8 pro and because of its 2k resolution, cannot get maximum gaming satisfaction. I'm waiting for oreo update as in that update, can change honor 8 pro to fhd resolution and makes gaming performance better.

Hi i want to know if this 8pro 4gb ram version is good for heavy games? No lag frame drops and no heat issues? I need some feedback cause i really want this phone. And can someone suggest me other budget brands of smarthphone for gaming? Thanks

Rahul, 15 Nov 2017I am using honor 8 pro from almost last 3 to 4 months means... moreDefinitely not, i'm using broadband of 75mbps bandwidth where i get 8-8.5 mbps download speed. I use jio as my primary data but never had slow internet speed, i generally get 1-2.5mbps download speed, this same happens to my friends using 1+, Moto and Iphone. it might be because of the network and the place where you are using the mobile.
