using honor 8 pro since july...this is my 1st honor phone...and I must say one of the best phones I have used...I have used mostly all flagship phones from Samsung to htc to nokia to iPhone...but this honor 8 pro is a complete package..from dual cameras which I have tested better than even IPhone 8 in low light...love the screen 2k..vivid colors and huge battery that last 2 days 4000mah...love that it has ir blaster ..the cameras have best bokeh effect...better than iPhone 7 and oneplus 5 ..I say at the price of 29k its one of the best device with huge 128gb with 6gb ram...after software update zero heating and better battery life ..iam also using G6 and iPhone 6s ...my main phone is honor 8 pro...

(1) This phone (Honor 8 pro) does not support dual 4G Standby i.e. If one SIM tray is selected for default mobile data (4G), then the other automatically changes to 2G/3G. Hence if you're using Jio SIM, it won't work unless you make the Jio SIM as the default mobile data SIM. If you use (say) Vodafone as your default mobile data, then Jio SIM network icon on notification area shows "Emergency only".
(2) Even under strong signal strength, Internet speed in honor 8 pro is very very slow. Today I compared download speed of my honor 8 pro with Xiaomi Redmi note 4 side-by-side (both using Jio SIM), and I was very much disappointed with my honor 8 pro's internet speed. Xiaomi Redmi note 4 (Rs.10,000/-) humiliated the Rs.30,000/- Honor 8 pro.
(3) SINR (Signal Interference to Noise Ratio) in honor 8 pro is in the range of -10db to -11db (negative number range), this is Worst!!! SINR should be a positive digit greater than +20db for good internet reception speed. On the other hand, Xiaomi Redmi note 4 had SINR value in the range +12db to +15db which is very good!!
(4) This phone (honor 8 pro) chooses 3G signal even if good LTE signal is available.
SAFETY:-
There is no good quality/branded screen guard nor good quality/branded cases for honor 8 pro in the market online/offline.
YOU WILL DEFINITELY BE DISAPPOINTED WITH THE INTERNET SPEED OF HONOR 8 PRO

Hi I am using this phone from a week as I have used OnePlus 5 also .This phone is neck to neck as compared to OP5. I am feeling like using iPhone in Android version.Display is far better than OP5 but it's slightly bigger and heavy than OP5. Otherwise I have no heating problem being a normal user.If you are habitual in handling big mobile you will never regret after buying this.

jun, 17 Oct 2017Honor8 pro is water Resistance or not.....? This phone is 4 star in all aspects (I give 3 Star for Camera and Quick charge). It is not water resistant. Branded cases and tempered glasses are not available for this phone on online/offline stores. Heating issue is minimized with an update. There are minor software bugs. Quick charge achieves 3 Star when the screen is off and no background apps running. For Rs 22,000/- (Diwali discount+Exchange+10% cash back) this phone 100% worth buying. Not confused btw any other phones coz i... moreDude everything is available i have bought this phone on 3rd of Oct, heating issue is there but as soon as you get the phone you get update for it, but heating will be there cause this is very slim phone big big battery and one of the most high performing processors, its not a big issue! This phone performs top notch! I love good camera phones in good lighting is great, but mjaor con for me is low light performance, although its quite better than OP5, i have used LG G4 and lumia 930 thats why i can say about low lighting, but its camera is way better than OP5 and any other xiaomi device.
