Honor 8A is coming on January 8 with 64GB of storage, teardrop notch
Honor has put up a teaser on its Weibo account for the upcoming Honor 8A. The phone will become official in China on January 8 and according to the promo image, it will have 64GB of onboard storage, an octa-core chipset and a display with a teardrop notch.
Earlier last month three devices were certified with the TENAA - model numbers JAT-AL00, JAT-TL00 and JAT-L29. They were later linked with the Honor 8A.
The Honor 8A will have a 6.088-inch HD+ IPS LCD, a 2.3GHz octa-core chipset, 3GB of RAM, 32GB or 64GB of ROM, a 13MP main and 8MP selfie camera and EMUI on top of Android 9 Pie.

and Samsung also making huge profits in screens too... But eventually the chineses will be flooding the market with chips and flexible screens, just a question of time.

Yeah they are definitely failing at the low to mid range segment of smartphones being smashed by Xiaomi and Huawei which are literaly flooding the market with a cheap phones with great price to performance ratio.
