Honor 90 GT debuts with Snapdragon 8 Gen 2 and up to 24GB RAM
Honor announced its latest flagship killer in China with the Honor 90 GT. The device brings an impressive spec sheet including last year’s flagship Snapdragon 8 Gen 2 chipset, up to 24GB RAM and speedy 100W charging.
Honor 90 GT features a 6.7-inch AMOLED display with a 1,200 x 2,664px resolution and a 120Hz refresh rate. The panel also features 3,840Hz PWM dimming, a built-in fingerprint scanner and a 16MP front-facing camera housed inside a punch-hole cutout.
There’s a 50MP main cam around the back with a Sony IMX906 sensor and OIS alongside a 12MP ultrawide lens. The star of the show is the Snapdragon 8 Gen 2 chip paired with up to 24GB RAM – the most on any Honor smartphone. The baseline model comes with 12GB RAM while the mid-tier version brings 16GB. Storage starts at 256GB and goes up to 1TB.
Honor 90 GT boots MagicOS 7.2 based on Android 14 and features a 5,000 mAh battery with 100W fast charging. Honor 90 GT comes in Black, Blue and Gold colors. Pricing starts at CNY 2,599 ($365) for the 12/256GB trim and goes up to 3,699 ($520) for the model with 24GB RAM and 1TB storage. Open sales in China start on December 26.

That doesn't make sense. They charge more anyway and make more profit on the higher memory versions. The cost is passed on to consumers
