Honor 90's India launch date announced
The Honor 90, which was unveiled in China in May and introduced to international markets in July, will launch in India on September 14, marking the brand's comeback to India's smartphone market after a hiatus of about three years under the leadership of former Realme India CEO Madhav Sheth.
Judging by the teasers, the Honor 90's Indian unit will be identical to the global model. The brand has confirmed it will sport a 200MP primary and 50MP selfie camera and run Android 13-based MagicOS 7.1 out of the box. It will also pack a curved display of 1.5K resolution and 1,600 nits peak brightness.
Assuming the rest of the specs are the same as the global model, the Indian Honor 90 will come with the Snapdragon 7 Gen 1 Accelerated Edition, up to 16GB RAM and 512GB storage, and a 6.7" 120Hz AMOLED screen with UD fingerprint scanner. The 200MP primary camera will be joined by 12MP ultrawide and 2MP depth units, and fueling the entire package will be a 5,000 mAh battery with 66W wired charging.
We got to spend some time with the Honor 90 during its China launch. You can read our Honor 90's first impressions here to know more about it.
