Honor to launch Magic V Flip with a massive cover display, big battery

Honor is working on a Magic V Flip foldable with the biggest battery among clamshell phones. The latest report from Digital Chat Station revealed it would also have a massive cover display, which will also be among the largest in the segment.

An image of the cover screen casing was posted by the leakster, which is in line with previous leaks that suggested the screen will go around the circular camera island.

Fan render, based on rumors

According to DCS, the whole outer panel is a screen with a tiny bezel at the bottom. We can also see a round camera island in the image and a single LED flash. It's not quite up to par with Motorola's Razr 40 Ultra, where the 3.6” AMOLED panel goes around the individual shooters, but it's pretty close.

The smartphone company is preparing to launch the Honor 200 series. We may see a Magic V Flip teaser on the stage, with a launch date of sometime in June.

If Honor sticks to its form when it comes to foldables the Magic V Flip will also be among the thinnest on the market. It's certainly shaping like an exciting product and we'll make sure to keep an eye on it.
