I've had this phone for a few months bought brand new and for the most part it's been decent. Has been nice and smooth and great quality back camera. The 100W charging is super quick and the fast wireless charging you have to see it to believe it. Front camera could have been better tho in my opinion. Apart from that front camera (it's not the worst it's just average), this phone was a REALLY solid choice at a decent price, but until it wasnt. Recently updated to Magic OS 8 (Android 14) getting incredibly bad freezing and lagging when playing videos on a lot of apps, but especially on youtube. Setting "dynamic" refresh rate seems to help this. Then the problem will disappear for a while then come back for no reason, but why does it happen in the first place? It's unfortunate because magic os 8 has one of the best implementations of an "apple-like" dynamic island.
Overall, It's a good phone let down by the software. If you have this phone or planning to buy it.. don't update to Magic OS 8. seems like others have said this already this phone is best when kept on Android 12

The night photo on this device suck that even my midrange poco took a better photo than this phone. Need a gcam to take a better picture

I love this phone! My only problem is it keeps getting hot even in browsing Facebook. Also if playing games it keeps getting hot and it fps drops even in low settings. 😮💨

I have this phone for 5 months. I regret upgrading from P30 Pro. The only good thing about this phone is fast charging. Camera is crap, it has a major problem with zooming on objects. Video is totally unusable. It's very heavy and the camera island should be a quarter of its size because it just doesn't perform.

few days ago i got android 14 update,after reset factory i can say battery,ui speed and camre is better now.i liked

Ep, 03 Mar 2024It's. Not just you , I have the same issue and that�... moreWorse still is the fact that since android 13 the phones been giving me a headache. It got so bad that I punted for another one, brand new on android 12 just to see if I was going mad.
I still may be just imagining things but the Android 12 ones seems to be fine at the moment , so perhaps they played around with the pwm or something as the other phone seemed to be brighter on android 13 (which might account for the battery drain) .

It's been 1 and half year i'm using Magic 4 Pro. First time using Honor. High price tag made me to think it is a good phone. My assumption was wrong. After purchase, within 2 months, this model started overheating and got hang until today. I need to restart. I found few months back the phone need to be charged longer and battery going off faster. Really a disappointment and this will be my first & last purchasing Honor products.

but be careful!!!
If you break the camera glass it can not be replaced, but the whole back cover for the phone must be replaced. I am currently waiting 2, 5 months for Honor autorized service in Serbia to get that phone cover so it can be replaced... No info when they will have the part, camera can not be used any more, very unprofessional

Just updated my honor magic4 pro to android 13 recently, I don't know if it's just me or is the battery life worse than on android 12, I'm getting about 4.5 hrs Sot, I could have sworn it was better than that before .

I'm getting that with Samsung i have one S22Ultra that lags like hell and another S23 that's not doing great at all, overheat, and restarts, depends on how lucky you are when you buy something, sometimes it's just phone production not done properly. My Magic4 Pro it's doing better than the Samsung one's, it's working flawless no major problem's.
