Has Android 15 update improve the camera especially portrait mode? The 1X and 2X portrait mode on the gsmarena reviews was very bad. This phone is very cheap now thinking to get one soon.
Also does this phone has green line screen problem coz its samsung screen?

Good just received magic os 9, many useful AI image extraction, text extraction features, improved camera a lot, magic os 8 camera and battery life were horrible last couple of months, phone kept overheating crashing, all seems to be fixed, used for 3 days battery life improved significantly, camera image quality, response time, capture speed all increased, got some new features (old ones from Huawei), os seems to be buttery smooth, good job honor dev team on this update, phone feels like new when i first purchased, previous magic os 8 made me wanna sell this phone so badly, thank goodness they released a new polished update as a surprise, was never expecting a major update.

Yeayy finally android 15 in my honor magic 4 pro.. Hopefully my phone also on list covered 7 years OS and android update like honor magic 7 pro as their starter.

I've had this phone for a few months bought brand new and for the most part it's been decent. Has been nice and smooth and great quality back camera. The 100W charging is super quick and the fast wireless charging you have to see it to believe it. Front camera could have been better tho in my opinion. Apart from that front camera (it's not the worst it's just average), this phone was a REALLY solid choice at a decent price, but until it wasnt. Recently updated to Magic OS 8 (Android 14) getting incredibly bad freezing and lagging when playing videos on a lot of apps, but especially on youtube. Setting "dynamic" refresh rate seems to help this. Then the problem will disappear for a while then come back for no reason, but why does it happen in the first place? It's unfortunate because magic os 8 has one of the best implementations of an "apple-like" dynamic island.
Overall, It's a good phone let down by the software. If you have this phone or planning to buy it.. don't update to Magic OS 8. seems like others have said this already this phone is best when kept on Android 12

The night photo on this device suck that even my midrange poco took a better photo than this phone. Need a gcam to take a better picture

I love this phone! My only problem is it keeps getting hot even in browsing Facebook. Also if playing games it keeps getting hot and it fps drops even in low settings. 😮💨

I have this phone for 5 months. I regret upgrading from P30 Pro. The only good thing about this phone is fast charging. Camera is crap, it has a major problem with zooming on objects. Video is totally unusable. It's very heavy and the camera island should be a quarter of its size because it just doesn't perform.

Ep, 03 Mar 2024It's. Not just you , I have the same issue and that�... moreWorse still is the fact that since android 13 the phones been giving me a headache. It got so bad that I punted for another one, brand new on android 12 just to see if I was going mad.
I still may be just imagining things but the Android 12 ones seems to be fine at the moment , so perhaps they played around with the pwm or something as the other phone seemed to be brighter on android 13 (which might account for the battery drain) .

Last year, Honor released the Magic OS 7.1 update, dated today. Will Honor do it today and release Magic OS 8?
