The same goes for OmniVision; Their biggest sensor which has debuted before is the unknown bastard that sits inside the P50 Pro, which people speculate is a 1/1.56 sensor. This is probably not true, but Huawei kept mum about the sensor in their launch event, which is a big red flag and probably means that it isn't a new sensor.
Honor didn't make a big fuss about the sensor other than the size, which makes me believe that it is indeed the GN2. And also, this is the same sensor size as the Mi 11 Ultra. Xiaomi confirmed the GN2 there.

TechNoob, 18 Mar 2022Is it worth switching to this from Mate 20 pro? From the Mate 20 Pro, it's a definitive upgrade. However, You'll lose some things native to Huawei, such as NM card support. You'll also encounter a new, but maybe less polished software that relies a bit more on the hardware. But otherwise, it's the wallet that decides:)

3.5mm is vital important for health, not everybody wants brain cancer as you want.
It is not obsolete or old or ancient tech, it is a must.
Alongside SD, also very important, this criminal companies wants your private, they working with governments.
You use cloud storage to share your private, even if you dont use cloud when your phone gone defect you must return to them to fix it.
As long as sheeople keep obeying and buying they will soon remove much more than what have done from your life.
They dont give any huck to environment, dont care human health or privacy.
It is not about money, it is about YOU PEOPLE.
They want to own your body, life, personality even soul.
Yes, there is only one company now who still have respect peoples life. There was also LG but bot anymore...
It is Sony, last crusader.
But if it is going like this, they'll give up or will share same fate as LG.
People who cares other people have to support Sony.
Stop buying from pineapple, shamesong, jokerola, oneminus and all other aftermarket chinese products.
They all have same goal...
Do not buy if
Phone has no SD
Phone has no 3.5mm
Phone has no charger in the box
Phone has no headset in the box
But yeah, you will laugh on me just like other people.
And system keep working...

Samsung Ga... moreDo you realise with Samsung case been much smaller and with larger battery, is is more prone to over heating with the phone busting out in fire in opposed to Huawei phone having a much larger case and smaller better which will be less prone to the phone busting out in fire.
In terms of quality and reliability, Huawei phones are more reliable than Samsung in every way is all I can say as I have never had any problem with Huawei phones since I start using the phones for the past 10 yrs incomprison to Samsung phone in the past I have had many issues every time I replace and upgrade the phone every 12 months to the latest model.
I have been using the Huwaei Mate 20X for the past 3 yrs + without any problems and will replace it with the new Honor phone I deem suitable to replace my Mate 20X later.

But if you happen to say "So go for them", then s/he would probably strongly reject it by making some other thin excuses.

On another note, it's evident that the phone features a beefy cooler inside to keep the phone from overheating due to the immense 100W wireless charging tech. That's the only explanation as to why it's so thick. I don't mind it; I absolutely love the thickness and heft of the S22 Ultra, for example.
The Samsung midrange phones get away with big batteries in slim bodies due to the fact that they don't need cooling for their chip or batteries, as neither is really powerful compared to this phone. Rest assured, the chip should throttle less here too, given how much cooling other components need.
